It’s been a busy couple of weeks. I have applied for and become a member of ANGA and also been accepted for licensing (which will happen at VOP in April). I also filled in for someone at a hymn sing, not realizing the person I was filling in for was the lead singer, lol. By the end of the evening I was almost hoarse because many of the songs hadn’t been transposed and were quite high. I’ll know better for “next time” (assuming there is one).
The next week I drove to North Carolina and spent some time in Moravian Falls with my friend and then we headed over to Georgia to attend a conference. Let’s just say it was “unusual” and “paradigm shifting” and leave it at that. One night was significant, though, in that God went after that wounded place in my heart that I thought was healed up. Wrong, lol. But He does it because He loves me and was more interested in my response to what happened than the circumstances themselves.
Kevin and I are heading out later this morning for a week’s vacation with our Alaska buddies. We are flying out to Bozeman and they are flying down and we’ll drive together from there to Big Sky for a week of skiing. It’s still very much winter out there although around these parts spring has definitely arrived. That’s not to say winter may not blast us again, but I am loving the warmer days! Garden planning has begun and I am very much looking forward to it. Catch you on the rebound!
