What a coinkydink!

Standard

I spoke with Richard Kinney from Firehouse Ministries yesterday. I’d been given his name by a friend who had been greatly helped by his ministry, and she thought he could help me as well. She’s right :) We talked about a lot of things and I have an assignment to do so this isn’t going to be a long post as I have my first appointment (by phone) with him tomorrow morning and need to do some soul searching. I had to laugh when I got his mailing address and went on to share part of the dream I’d had back in July where I was on a motorcycle and performed an illegal move cutting across a median to get to a higher road so I could follow a ladder truck. I eventually entered a building (which was part firehouse part thrift store) in which I saw the ladder truck parked, and I think the name of his ministry is no coincidence!

Editing back in (on Monday) to say I deleted the second part of this post because I was asked to keep the sessions private. That doesn’t mean I won’t be sharing insight that I learn from time to time, it’s just that I won’t be as transparent during this part of my journey. But it’s all good. And I am filled with hope! Things are beginning to shift, pieces of the puzzle are falling into place, and I can literally feel the difference inside of me. God is for me, so who can be against me?! :)

    • Welcome! I’m glad you stopped by. The back story really starts in April when I attended a Voice of the Prophets conference. That led to a three-week “Summer Intensive” at Global Awakening, which led to signing up for online classes there and my upcoming trip. I’ve had just about everything I ever believed challenged and have exchanged religion for relationship. It’s been a wild ride and it’s only just begun! :) I popped over to your blog for a few. Congrats on the new son! My second was a little guy like that and it was hard leaving him at the hospital. Now he’s 21 and I’m wondering where the years went! Hopefully I can catch more of your back story in the future. Remain blessed! ~p
