All week I’ve been thinking about new blog posts, but as usual it’s when I’m doing something else and I don’t get around to it. Then when I finally squeeze in a few minutes I can’t remember what it was I wanted to say, lol. I do remember last night’s because we watched a show on the History Channel about 9/11. There was a woman who was in the Pentagon when it was hit who cried out to Jesus for help. When help finally came she found she couldn’t speak anymore because of the lack of oxygen and was having trouble breathing when she heard a voice in her head that said, “Clap!” so she started clapping her hands. That’s what saved her, because the rescuer heard it and then saw her hands moving and got her out. Soon after the wall collapsed.
Then there were the firemen at the World Trade Center who stopped to help a woman and ended up being trapped in a stairwell as opposed to just making it out which, with that much debris falling they probably wouldn’t have survived. I don’t believe in chance or coincidences. That’s just how we see it. In any event, with those and so many other testimonies of Divine intervention I wonder sometimes what it would take for some to believe. Perhaps they need to hear His voice for themselves. And if they want to hear it bad enough, He’ll speak. But one must first believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
In any event, it’s been a busy day. I’m heading down to spend some time with my mom later today, and then tomorrow we’re taking a day trip to the beach, meeting up with some ladies from the church for a “ladies’ day out”! Woot. :) The wash is done, the bills are paid, the lawn is mowed, and I’m about to make supper for the guys to pull out of the fridge. I have friends who are going to Shanksville tomorrow. And of course we’re all waiting to see if that pastor in Florida burns the Koran. If he does, the blood of many people will be on his hands.
