Ministry is messy

Standard

…because people are messy.  And so it goes that misunderstandings occur, feelings get hurt, people take up offenses.  But when you’re the one who’s come under attack it’s sometimes difficult to keep from reacting instead of responding.  God knows what a nuclear reactor I can be, lol.  As tempting as it would be to “defend myself” I know better, and so I will wait until I can think clearly enough to respond appropriately.  I’m hoping a good night’s sleep helps.

Editing back in to say it helped (I think).  As the original misunderstand occurred through email I thought it best to clear things up face to face, which I did this afternoon.  So the air has been cleared and the slate wiped, etc.  Here’s to new beginnings!
