Worn Out

Standard

There’s nothing like a day of spring skiing to remind you how old you’re becoming, lol.  But it was a good day.  Up at 4:30 to be at Seven Springs by 8, and then five hours of skiing in at first icy then spring-like conditions.  The place was packed, which took some of the enjoyment out of it, but it was a beautiful day, and once again I was just happy to be with my husband and son.  I really am beginning to enjoy skiing and should write a poem about it.  I don’t know that I’ve ever read one, and will have to do a search to see what’s out there.  Not tonight, though.  It’s only seven o’clock and I’m ready to hit the sack!  I guess people are kind of like batteries–the older they get the less energy they hold!  Time to recharge :)
