I haven’t been very good lately at blogging. Part of it is due to a very busy schedule, but part of it is something deeper I haven’t quite been able to put my finger on yet. I think it has something to do with following political debates at the Sphere. It doesn’t help that occasionally I open my big mouth (I did that last night) and get drawn in. Try as I might to express things without “religious airs” somehow they still cling to me. I’d so like to lose them, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. Interesting, though, that those who cry the loudest about being judged are often guilty of it themselves. Oh well.
I’ve had a peaceful day though, and I’m thankful for that. Tonight I went to the first practice of the El Shaddai Singers, a (relatively) local choral group. It’s been years since I participated in anything like this, and I’ve missed it. I love to sing. It’s good for the soul.
