I think it was back in the ’70s when California wine was kind of like the new kid on the block. European winemakers probably looked down their noses at them as if they were some kind of poor cousin. How things change over the years! The “new kid” as grown and matured and the wine is every bit as good (some would say better) than European counterparts, and wineries all over this country are putting out some impressive products!
I remember when online publishing wasn’t considered as being published at all. Things are changing there as well. I’ve decided to send The Pop-up Camper to an online journal (once I’m done with a final tweak or two). More people will get to read it that way, and isn’t that what it’s all about?
